Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

All Live plants are shipped out tracked 24 hrs to ensure the least amount of time in transit possible and a happy plant upon arrival. 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

For simple flat rate shipping: We offer $X flat rate shipping to [list countries]. 

You can also emphasize any free shipping thresholds you offer (e.g. free shipping for orders over $75). For multiple shipping options, you can list carrier options, prices, and delivery times in a table.

Local delivery

If you offer local delivery or in-store pickup to customers in your area, you can dedicate a section of your shipping policy page to explain the process or create a separate shipping page specifically for local customers. 

Free local delivery is available for orders over £100 within BS3 and BS16. For orders under $X, we charge $X for local delivery.

Deliveries are made from [delivery hours] on [available days]. We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival. 

You can list out the ZIP/postal codes you service and/or consider embedding a map here so customers can easily see if they are within your local delivery range.

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 175 North St. BS£ 1JQ, Bristol. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 3 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Our in-store pickup hours are [store hours] on [available days of the week]. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

International Shipping

We do not currently offer international shipping. 



How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within X days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Include a link for customers to track their order if available.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Some carriers have limitations around shipping to P.O. Boxes. If one of your carriers falls into this group, you should look up their policy and communicate it to your customers here. 

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

Summarize your return policy here and link out to your full return policy page if you have one. 

We accept returns up to X days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Potting Bar FAQ

Q: Do I need to make an appointment?

A: No need; bring your plant in during regular business hours. 

Q: How long will the repotting service take? 

A:It depends! If you have a few small plants, it shouldn't take longer than about 30 min, but as we are a small business, it also depends on how busy we are on the day. Weekends can take longer. Also, if you have an extra large plant that needs more wrangling, it may take some spare time. 

Q: Can you repot my plant while I wait?

A: Sure! If you want to hang out and watch while we work our repotting magic, then be our guest! Or you can hang out on our comfy sofa in the plant room or drop off your plants for pickup later. 

Q: My plant looks sad. Can you help?

A: Yes, we can generally advise you on what may be making your plant sad and help devise a plan to perk up your plant. To protect our shop stock from pests, we may look at your plant outside the shop before you bring it in, or even better yet, send us a picture via our Instagram, chat feature, or email before bringing it to the shop. 

Q: I want to use your self-service repotting, but I'm unsure how to repot my plant. 

A:The self-service is geared towards those that feel more confident repotting plants themselves but just don't want to deal with the mess and potting mix storage at home. That said, we can certainly help you get to the point where you do feel confident! We often suggest having us walk you through the steps with our repotting service first, until you feel confident enough to pot it up yourself. We will always be happy to suggest which of our mixes works best for your plant.

Q: Do I need to bring my own pot?

A: We have a decent selection of used nursery pots under 20cm available in-store, and our repotting service operates on a loose 'take-a-pot leave-a-pot system'. If we have a 'used' pot on hand that fits, it's on the house. For plants that need a nursery pot over 20cm, or you want a shiny new one, we have a selection available to purchase below. If you have a pot you want to use, then, of course, bring it in!
