Nertera granadensis 'Astrid'

A lovely ornamental plant that has the most adorable (though not edible) berries. 

Plant Care 

Light: Bright indirect light is ideal

Watering: Water when the top inch of the soil is dry. This plant likes to be moist but don't overwater. 

Temperature: This plant prefers to be slightly cooler. 13-21°C is ideal, but it can tolerate temperatures down to 5°C. 

Potting: A well-draining and moisture-retaining mix is best. The sandy loam mix is a good fit. 

Hot tips: Take your Nertera out during spring months and place out of direct sun. The plant will appreciate the cooler temperatures outdoors, giving you a higher chance of getting berries again in autumn. Just bring your plant in once the evening temperature drops below 13C.

Pet Friendly: NOPE. Once this plant has harvested the berries, carefully remove them as they are mildly toxic to humans and pets.
