Pilea peperomioides ‘Mojito’ – Variegated Chinese Money Plant
A playful twist on the classic Chinese Money Plant, Pilea peperomioides ‘Mojito’ shows off marbled green and creamy-yellow variegation on its round, coin-shaped leaves. Each leaf is completely unique — some heavily speckled, others softly streaked — giving this compact houseplant a fresh, cheerful look. Easy to grow and endlessly charming, it’s perfect for bright shelves, desks, or plant gift swaps.
Plant Care
Light: Bright indirect light, too much sun, and you risk scorching the leaves. This plant can also tolerate lower light conditions.
Watering: This plant doesn't need much water, so give it a good soak when the top inch of the soil is dry. A good rule is about every 1-2 weeks (depending on location).
Temperature: 18-24°C is ideal. Cold drafts will cause leaf drop for this pretty plant.
Potting: A well-draining potting mix is suitable for these. Our A Sandy Loam is an excellent choice for this plant.
Hot tips: Peperomia are easy-to-propagate plants as they grow babies! Great if you want to fill your house with these beauties.
