General

Where are you located?
We’re at 175 North Street, Bedminster, Bristol BS3 1JQ.

What are your opening hours?
Monday: 11am – 6pm
Tuesday: 12pm – 4pm
Wednesday: 12pm – 4pm
Thursday: 11am – 6pm
Friday: 11am – 6pm
Saturday: 11am – 5pm
Sunday: 11:30am – 4pm

Is there parking?
There’s on-street parking on North Street and the surrounding side roads.

Is the shop accessible?
We’re partially accessible — there is one step at the entrance and a few inside. Full details are in our Accessibility Guide, and we’re always happy to assist.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you deliver locally?
Yes. We deliver within Bristol (BS1–BS16). Delivery usually takes 24–72 hours depending on our schedule. If you need it urgently, contact us before ordering and we’ll do our best.

Do you ship UK-wide?
Yes. We ship using Royal Mail:
• Live plants: Tracked 24
• Non-plant items: Tracked 48

We do not ship very large plants. Certain oversized items (e.g., large pots) are pickup-only or eligible for local delivery only.

How long does dispatch take?
Orders are processed within one to two business days.
Royal Mail collects from us Monday–Saturday.

Orders placed after 4pm on Friday, or any time Saturday/Sunday (until Sunday 2pm), are dispatched on Monday so plants don’t sit in boxes over the weekend.

How much does shipping cost?
UK-wide shipping is £6.99.
Local delivery within Bristol is £5–£10 depending on postcode.
Click & Collect is always free.

When will my order arrive?
Delivery usually takes:
• 1–2 working days for Tracked 24 (plants)
• 2–4 working days for Tracked 48 (non-plants)

How do you package plants?
Securely and with extra care. We reuse packaging materials where possible, but always prioritise plant safety.

What if something goes wrong in transit?
Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order with photos and your order number.

Weather & Heat Packs
During periods of freezing temperatures, heatwaves, or severe storms, we may delay dispatch to protect your plants and will notify you if your shipment is affected.
If temperatures are forecast to fall below 0°C and you have not added a heat pack, we may delay dispatch and will contact you.
Heat packs are strongly recommended below 10°C. We cannot be responsible for cold damage if no heat pack was added.

What happens after Royal Mail collects my parcel?
Once your order is handed to Royal Mail, it is in their care.
We cannot:
• speed up delivery
• request redirections
• change delivery addresses
• recover parcels marked “Delivered”

Royal Mail considers a parcel delayed after:
• 5 working days for Tracked 24
• 7 working days for Tracked 48

Claims can only be raised after 10 working days past the expected delivery date.

What if my address was entered incorrectly?
We cannot refund or replace items where the address was incomplete or incorrect.

Local Delivery Safe Places
A safe place must be provided for local delivery. We cannot re-deliver if no safe place was given.

Shopping & Orders

Can I reserve something I saw on Instagram?
Yes. The easiest way is to place a Click & Collect order so it’s securely held for you.

Can I return a plant?
For in-store purchases, we accept plant returns within 24 hours if the plant is in the same condition or if you notice an issue shortly after purchase.
For shipped plants, please get in touch within 24 hours of delivery with photos.
Due to the nature of live plants, we cannot accept returns beyond this window.

Can I return non-plant items?
Yes. A standard 30-day return policy applies for non-plant items in unused condition.

Can I change or cancel my order?
If your order hasn’t been packed or dispatched, we’ll do our best. Email us at hello@plant.studio as soon as possible.

Plant Care & Services

Can you repot my plant?
Yes. Bring it in — we offer repotting and can recommend the right mix from our peat-free soil bar.

Do you offer plant advice?
Always. Come by with photos or questions and we’ll help you figure out what’s going on.

Gifts & Workshops

Do you sell gift cards?
Yes — digital and in-store gift cards are available online and in the shop.

Do you run workshops?
We run workshops and private events.
Workshops are for ages 16+ unless otherwise stated.

Do I need a ticket to attend a workshop?
Yes. Due to our small space (maximum capacity of 6 participants), every person attending must have their own ticket, even if they are not actively taking part. This ensures we have enough room and materials for everyone and can run the session safely and comfortably.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

Can I reschedule my workshop?
Yes — if you contact us at least 48 hours before your workshop, we can reschedule your booking to another available date.

What if it’s less than 48 hours before the workshop?
If you contact us with less than 48 hours’ notice, we can’t guarantee a reschedule, but we will review it on a case-by-case basis. Because our workshops are very small, late changes are difficult to accommodate.

Can I get a refund if I don’t attend?
Unfortunately, we cannot refund workshop tickets for non-attendance if you did not contact us in advance. Your ticket reserves one of only six spaces, and we may not be able to fill it at short notice.
