Tamarindus indica - Tamarind
A tropical beauty known for its graceful, feathery foliage and edible fruit pods, Tamarindus indica (the Tamarind Tree) brings an exotic flair to patios, conservatories, or bright indoor spaces. In warm weather, it produces small yellow flowers followed by curved brown pods filled with tangy-sweet pulp — a staple in cuisines around the world. Though tropical by nature, it makes a stunning container plant in the UK, easily overwintered indoors.
