Salix integra 'Hakuro-nishiki' - Flamingo Tree - flamingo willow - Salix Flamingo
A 2.5m tall and wide deciduous tree with drooping branches and lance-shaped leaves that emerge pink in the spring, maturing to variegated shades of pink, creamy white, and green before mainly turning green in summer. In spring, yellow catkins appear on bare stems, and the new growth turns orange-red in autumn.
Position: full sun
Hardiness: hardy in most places throughout the UK, even in severe winters (-15 to -10)
Hot Tips: It can also be grafted into a small weeping tree for a unique touch.
