At Plant Studio, we don’t just plonk your plant in a bigger pot — we give it a proper refresh with the right soil, a root check, and the space it needs to thrive. Think of it as a spa day for your green friend.
Every repot comes with a free health check, a custom soil mix blended in-house for your plant’s needs, and an aftercare guide so you’ll know exactly how to keep it happy.
Most repots are done within the hour. You’re welcome to bring your own decorative pot or choose one from our shelves. We can also add extras like top dressings and moss poles — and of course we’ll water it properly before it goes home with you.
Before we repot, we’ll give your plant a quick once-over outside. If we spot pests, we can’t go ahead as it puts our shop plants at risk, but we’ll happily advise you on the best treatment. 👉 Want to avoid disappointment? Check out our [blog post] for tips on spotting common pests before you visit.
Walk-ins are always welcome and most repots can be done on the spot. If you’re bringing in a whole plant family or something extra large, just DM or call ahead so we can be ready.
Prices are based on the size of the pot your plant will be moving into:
XS (up to 8cm): £2
Small (9–12cm): £4
Medium (13–17cm): £8
Large (18–22cm): £16
XL (23–28cm): £20
XXL (29–40cm): £32
Mega (41cm+): £45
✨ A quick note for bigger plants (18cm+ pots): you may need to purchase or bring along a nursery pot if we don’t have one available in our free stash.

Our call-out service is perfect for home, office, or workspace plant collections that need a refresh. We’ll bring along our custom soil mixes and take care of all the repotting on site.
Pricing:
£45 for the first 2 hours (plus the individual repotting fees for each plant)
£35 per hour after that

If your plant has been in the same pot for a long time, and/or is in a bad soil mix, and is looking a little root bound then yes! But often there are other reasons your plant may be sad. Most often the case is apest problem orpoor conditions. We are always happy to advise on how to remedy this, but won't accept plants with pest issues in the shop for repotting.
We will do a plant health check, and pot your plant into an appropriately sized nursery pot, pot your bring in, or we have a great selection of plant pots with adequate drainage for sale.
We can add on a moss pole, plant support, or decorative plant toppings for an additional charge based off the cost of the individual items.
Due to space issues we no longer offer self repotting in store. We do sell all of our potting mixes and components either per 1 litre scoop, in 3l and 10l bags.

For sizes xs-large it is! For sizes XL-Mega we have large nursery pots, or even terracotta available for purchase, or feel free to bring in your own pot.
Generally we can repot while you wait, but for larger plants, multiple plants, or during peak busy shopping times we may ask you to come back in an hour or two.
