Description

Anthurium ‘Queen of Hearts’ is a dramatic foliage anthurium known for its deep, velvety leaves and bold heart-shaped form. With rich, dark green to near-black foliage and subtle, elegant veining, this cultivar has a moody, luxurious presence that instantly elevates a space. It’s a slower-growing, collector-style anthurium that rewards patience with increasingly large, sculptural leaves. A perfect choice for those who love statement plants with a refined, slightly gothic edge.

Plant Care

Light: Bright indirect light is ideal, though this plant can handle lower light levels. Be sure that direct sunlight is not hitting the leaves.

Watering: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Little and often is ideal for this plant. so during summer months, about twice a week with half a cup of water, and in winter once a week with half a cup should do the trick.

Temperature: 20 to 30°C is ideal.

Potting: A well-draining chunky mix is ideal. Our Super Chonk or Airy Aroid mix is a great choice.

Hot tips: Humidity is key to maintaining a happy plant here. This is an ideal specimen for a bathroom or greenhouse cabinet as they prefer a minimum humidity over 50% but ideally more.
