Hoya burtoniae is a lush, trailing epiphyte with soft, velvety leaves that blush with red edges in bright light. But the real magic? The adorable clusters of fuzzy pink flowers that smell as sweet as they look. A dream plant for hanging pots or shelves, it’s low-fuss, rewarding, and just the right kind of weird (in the best way).
Plant Care Light: Loves bright, indirect light and will bloom best with a few hours of soft morning sun. Too little light = no flowers. Can handle full sun if it is slowly aclimated.
Watering: Let the soil dry out between waterings. Hoyas hate wet feet — when in doubt, wait a little longer. Filtered water preferred.
Temperature: Thrives in 18–26°C, and should be kept above 15°C. Avoid cold spots or draughty windows.
Potting: Our Airy Aroid mix is perfect — free-draining, chunky, and ideal for keeping roots happy and dry.
