Aeonium Tricolour

Aeonium haworthii ‘Tricolor’, commonly known as the Kiwi Aeonium, is a striking variegated succulent prized for its colourful rosettes of green, cream, and soft pink that intensify in bright sunlight. This architectural plant forms clusters of symmetrical rosettes over time, creating a sculptural, low-maintenance feature for pots, patios, and sunny garden beds.

Evergreen in mild UK conditions, Aeonium Tricolor brings year-round interest and thrives with minimal care. Its fleshy leaves store water, making it highly drought tolerant and perfect for container gardening, Mediterranean-style planting, or sunny outdoor displays. In ideal conditions, mature plants may produce tall stems with small star-shaped flowers.

Best grown in a sunny, sheltered spot with excellent drainage, this plant is ideal for adding colour and structure without fuss.

Plant Care 

Light: A sunny spot outdoors or a bright spot indoors.  

Watering: Let these plants dry out completely between waterings, then give them a good soak, letting the water drain completely. Less water for these plants means better colours, so don't water too much. 

Temperature: 18-23°C is perfect for these plants. Try not to let your Aeonium go below 5°C, so if you have them out for spring and summer, be sure to bring them inside. 

Potting: A quick draining mix is suitable for these succulents. Our Savvy Succa is a great choice for this plant.
