Bellis

Bellis, commonly known as the English Daisy, is a cheerful, low-growing perennial loved for its neat rosettes of green leaves and long-lasting pom-pom flowers in shades of pink, red, and white. Compact and hardworking, it’s perfect for containers, borders, window boxes, and underplanting in spring displays. Bellis brings reliable colour early in the season and pairs beautifully with bulbs and other cool-season favourites.

Light: Lightly shaded to sunny position is best. 

Watering: Water when the top of the soil feels dry to the touch, otherwise if left too dry you will experience wilt. Avoid watering over the crown to avoid rot.

Temperature: These plants can survive brief cold stints but would prefer not to be exposed to frost.

Potting: A well-draining moisture, moisture-retaining mix will do the trick for this plant; our sandy loam is ideal.
