Lewisia ‘Mountain Dreams’: proof that tough and pretty can go hand in hand. These rosettes of fleshy leaves send up dreamy pastel blooms in soft pinks, peaches and apricots – like a little alpine sunset in plant form.
Plant Care
Position: full sun, with excellent drainage – perfect for pots, rockeries or crevices
Hardiness: hardy in most of the UK (down to -10°C), but dislikes winter wet
Hot Tips: avoid waterlogging – tilt pots or plant on a slope to let rain run off. Water during dry spells in summer, and remove faded flowers to keep it blooming. Ideal for gravel gardens or alpine troughs.
