Description

A mixed selection of Cryptanthus, commonly known as earth star plants. These low-growing bromeliads form flat, star-shaped rosettes with patterned foliage in shades of green, red, pink, and bronze, often with striping or mottling. Grown for their foliage rather than flowers, Cryptanthus stay compact and spread slowly, making them well suited to small pots, shelves, and terrariums.

Plant Care

Light: Likes bright indirect light.

Watering: They appreciate having moist soil all the time, but be sure not to soak it, or you risk root rot.

Temperature: This plant likes it warm and humid, so don't let it get below 15°C, or you risk leaf damage.

Potting: These plants like a well-draining mix. Our Airy Aroid mix is an excellent choice for this plant.

Hot tips: Don't water direct into the centre of this plant, as you risk fungal issues.
