Description

Pinguicula agnata is a sticky little charmer from Mexico, prized for its gentle nature and bug-snagging superpowers. With glossy, succulent-like leaves and soft white flowers tinged with pale blue, it’s a houseplant that multitasks — looks cute and keeps whiteflies in check. Whether you're a carnivorous plant newbie or a seasoned collector, this one is an easy win.

Plant Care

Light: An east or west window sill is ideal.

Watering: These plants must always sit in a shallow dish of water. They are sensitive to tap water, so best to use rainwater or filtered.

Temperature: 15-25°C is ideal

Potting: I find that carnivorous plants faire best in sphagnum moss only.

Hot tips: These like humidity, but not misting. The best bet is to ensure the water dish doesn't dry and keep it around your other plants or in a pebble tray.
