Cynara Cardunculus - cardoon- artichoke thistle
This herbaceous perennial, reaching a height of 2.5m, produces a cluster of silvery-grey spiny leaves, each reaching up to 1m in length. In late summer and autumn, large purple thistle-like flowers emerge.
