Rhipsalis Paradoxa
Rhipsalis paradoxa is a unique, trailing jungle cactus with long, segmented stems that twist and tangle like chains. Native to tropical forests, it grows epiphytically and thrives indoors as a hanging plant, bringing texture and movement to your space. Its unusual form makes it a real conversation starter and a must-have for trailing plant lovers.
Plant Care
Light: Bright indirect light. Too much direct sun, and you risk scorching the leaves. Can handle the morning sun (think East-facing window), but the afternoon sun may be too much for this beauty.
Watering: Water when the soil is almost fully dry, and don't allow it to sit in water. Prefers evenly moist soil in the growing season but let it dry a little more in winter.
Temperature: 15-28C is ideal.
Potting: These plants like a chunky mix, similar to their natural habitat. Our Airy Aroid is a great choice for this species.
Hot tips: Perfect in a hanging basket or high shelf where the long stems can cascade. May produce small, white flowers followed by colourful berries in good conditions.
