Native to cool, temperate forests across Europe, Asia, and North America, Pincushion Moss grows in soft, rounded mounds on forest floors, rotting logs, and shaded woodland edges. It thrives in moist, acidic soil and dappled shade, forming dense green domes that look like nature’s plush pillows.
