Hoya pubicalyx ‘Splash’ - Wax plant

Hoya pubicalyx ‘Splash’ is a fast-growing, trailing houseplant with glossy green leaves flecked with silvery splashes — as if dusted with moonlight. Over time, it can produce clusters of starry, fragrant pink blooms, adding charm to any bright corner or hanging planter.

This hardy tropical vine thrives on neglect, making it perfect for both beginners and collectors.

Plant Care 

Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Can tolerate some morning or late afternoon sun.

Watering: Let the top 1/2 of your plant pot dry out in between waterings. Water sparingly in winter.

Temperature: 18-24°C These plants prefer things on the warmer side but don't let them get below 16°C 

Potting: These plants like a well-draining mix. Our Airy Aroid mix does the trick.

Hot tips: Humidity is key for hoyas, a bright bathroom would be ideal! This plant is a light feeder, so don't go crazy with the fertiliser. Train it up a trellis, moss pole, or let it trail for maximum impact. Hoyas flower best when slightly pot-bound and with consistent bright light.
