Pelargonium graveolens (Rose-Scented Geranium) is a beautifully fragrant tender perennial grown for its soft, velvety foliage and delicate clusters of pale pink flowers. Simply brushing the leaves releases a wonderful rose fragrance with fresh citrus and herbal notes, making it a delight for patios, balconies and sunny windowsills. Traditionally grown near outdoor seating areas, its aromatic foliage is often associated with helping to deter mosquitoes when disturbed. Flowering from late spring through summer, it brings both scent and beauty to any space.

Plant Care
Light: Prefers full sun or a very bright position for the healthiest growth and best flowering.
Watering: Allow the top few centimetres of compost to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly, then allow excess water to drain away. Reduce watering over winter.
Temperature: Protect from frost. Can be grown outdoors through summer but should be brought indoors or into a frost-free greenhouse before temperatures drop.
Potting: Plant in a free-draining peat-free compost. Ideal for pots, containers and sunny borders during the warmer months.
Hot tips: Gently brush the leaves to enjoy their beautiful fragrance. Pinch out growing tips to encourage a bushier plant and deadhead spent flowers to promote continuous blooming throughout the season.
