Monstera Siltepecana - Silver Monstera

Monstera siltepecana is the underrated star of the Monstera world. With elongated, pointed leaves brushed in silvery-grey and dark green veins, it’s got that moody jungle look — but in a compact, climbable form. In high humidity and bright light, mature plants can even develop fenestrations (those iconic Monstera holes). Perfect for trailing or climbing, this fast grower is an easy favourite for collectors.

Plant Care
Light:
Thrives in bright, indirect light. Can handle lower light, but the silvery markings shine best with good light. Avoid harsh direct sun.

Watering:
Let the top third of the soil dry out between waterings. Likes a consistent rhythm — soggy soil = sad roots.

Temperature:
Loves warmth! Keep between 18–28°C, and avoid anything below 15°C.

Potting:

Hot tips:
Wants to climb! Give it a moss pole or coir totem for bigger leaves and faster growth. Great in hanging pots too if you prefer the cascade look.
