Cymbidium ‘Anisa’ is a compact cymbidium orchid valued for its upright sprays of long-lasting flowers and tidy, architectural foliage. Thick, strap-like green leaves form a dense clump, while mature plants produce multiple flower spikes during the cooler months. Cymbidiums are grown primarily for their blooms, which can last several weeks under the right conditions.

Plant Care 

Light: Likes bright indirect light. An east or west-facing window is ideal. 

Watering: Water when top inch of soil is dry.

Temperature: These plants prefer it a bit cooler. Between 10-20˚C in the day is preferable and can go up to 30˚C in summer. Night temp 10-12˚C. 

Potting: A chunky and well-aired mix; Our Airy Aroid mix does the trick.

Hot tips: Once the plant has finished flowering, cut back the stem just above a node (the small bump or knuckle on the stem). This will encourage the orchid to bloom again.
