A beautiful blooming house plant, the Medinilla will wow you with its unusual shape and stunning flower. This plant is an excellent choice for a hanging basket and will add a touch of colour to your home. 

Plant Care 

Light: Bright indirect light, too much sun, and you risk scorching the leaves and flowers. In winter, move this to a brighter spot.

Watering: This is not a super thirsty plant, so give it a soak when the top inch of soil is dry. Avoid overwatering or letting it sit in water. 

Temperature: 17-25°C is perfect for this plant. Move the plant to  16-17 ° C to initiate budding until buds appear. 

Potting: A well-draining sandy mix is best for this. Try to avoid repotting during flowering and not to damage flowers. Our A Sandy Loam mix is a great choice for this plant.

Hot tips: Don't feed this plant during flowering (spring-summer). Also good to remove the old flowers after blooming to speed up growth.
