Plant Care
Position: Full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil

Hardiness: Mix of hardy annuals and perennials suited to UK conditions – annuals provide first-year colour while perennials establish for future years

Watering: Water regularly while establishing. Once established, wildflowers are generally low-maintenance and drought-tolerant

Sowing: Can be sown year-round, with best results from March to May or August to October. Scatter seeds evenly onto prepared soil and lightly firm in—do not bury too deeply

Flowering: Late spring through to early autumn, depending on sowing time and species mix

Hot Tips: For best results, sow onto bare, low-nutrient soil—wildflowers thrive where competition is low. Avoid using fertiliser, as this encourages grasses over flowers. A light cut back at the end of the season will help reseeding and maintain your meadow year after year.
