Description

Add a splash of seasonal colour to your garden with our Pernettya Lucky Dip selection. Also known as Gaultheria mucronata or Prickly Heath, these compact evergreens are loved for their glossy leaves and clusters of bright berries that last right through winter. Each plant is a surprise mix — you might get pink, red, or white berries — perfect for adding a cheerful, festive touch to pots, containers, or borders.

Plant Care

Position: part shade to full sun in moist, acidic, well-drained soil – ideal for pots, underplanting, or woodland gardens

Hardiness: fully hardy evergreen perennial shrub in the UK (down to -20°C or lower)

Hot Tips: water with rainwater if possible to keep soil acidic. Excellent for winter containers with cyclamen, heathers, and ivy. Prune lightly in spring if needed.
