Description

Rudbeckia hirta: bold, bright, and brilliantly cheerful. These classic Black-Eyed Susans produce masses of golden-yellow daisies with dark central cones, blooming their hearts out through late summer and into autumn.

Plant Care

Position: full sun in fertile, well-drained soil – ideal for borders, prairie-style planting, and cutting gardens

Hardiness: half-hardy annual or short-lived perennial in the UK (down to -5°C); usually grown as an annual for best display

Hot Tips: deadhead regularly to extend the flowering season. Water in dry spells, and leave seed heads standing into autumn for birds to enjoy. Perfect for wildlife-friendly gardens and pollinator borders.
