Description

Dark, glossy, and deliciously dramatic—‘Chocolate Empress’ brings royal vibes to your space with deep-toned foliage that shifts between green, bronze, and velvety cocoa. Regal, but surprisingly easy to please.

Plant Care
Light: Bright indirect light is best. It can handle softer light, but the richer the light, the deeper and more vibrant the colour. Avoid harsh direct sun to protect those luxe leaves.

Watering: Let the top 2–3 inches of soil dry out between waterings. Loves a drink, but hates wet feet—consistency is key.

Temperature: Thrives in 18–26°C. Avoid cold draughts and dry air—she prefers it warm and gently humid.

Potting: Our Airy Aroid mix is ideal—chunky, breathable, and moisture-balanced to keep those roots happy.

Hot tips: Wipe the leaves occasionally to keep that shine glowing. Give it a moss pole or support if it starts to vine. New leaves often emerge reddish-bronze—total leaf drop moment.
