Description

Trachycarpus fortunei: the hardy palm with serious holiday energy. With its bold, fan-shaped leaves and shaggy trunk, this tropical-looking stunner is surprisingly chill about cold weather. Instant exotic vibes – no passport required.

Plant Care

Position: full sun to part shade, sheltered from strong winds – ideal for patios, borders, or statement pots

Hardiness: very hardy (down to -15°C or lower) – one of the toughest palms for UK gardens

Hot Tips: water regularly in dry spells, especially in summer. Mulch in winter to protect roots when young. Remove old leaves as they brown to keep it looking tidy and architectural.
