Agave potatorum ouhi-raijin variegata
A beautiful dwarf agave variety will grow no bigger than 12cm.
Light: This plant is perfect for a sunny patio when grown outdoors or a bright spot indoors.
Watering: Wait until the soil is arid, then give it a good soak. Think drought and then tropical downpour. In winter months, cut wayyyyy back on the watering if at all, and give it a drink when you notice it starting to pucker.
Temperature: This is a relativly cold hardy plant, so it can go down to 2° C IF it's kept dry, so place it in a spot that it won't sop up all that rain but still gets the light it needs overwinter.
Potting: A terracotta pot and succulent mix are ideal for these. Our Savvy Succa mix does the trick for this plant.
Hot tips: Keep this beauty in bright light and it will be a happy plant.
Pet Friendly: Sort of, the juice in the leaves can cause mild skin irritation.
