‘Dania’ is all about the leaves: deep green, glossy foliage with bold ivory-white veins that give it its zebra-plant nickname. It’s a lovely statement plant for a warm, bright bathroom, kitchen, or spot near a humidifier — but it does appreciate a bit more consistency than your average houseplant. The species can also produce colourful bracts and tubular flowers in good conditions.

Watering:Keep the compost lightly moist through the growing season, allowing only the surface to start drying before watering again. It doesn’t like drying out completely or sitting soggy.
