This lovely flowering plant is a great choice for borders and containers. Hardy perennial is usually grown as a hardy annual or hardy biennial by gardeners.
Light: Lightly shaded to sunny position is best.
Watering: Water when the top of the soil feels dry to the touch, otherwise if left too dry you will experience wilt. Avoid watering over the crown to avoid rot.
Temperature: These plants can survive brief cold stints but would prefer not to be exposed to frost.
Potting: A well-draining moisture, moisture-retaining mix will do the trick for this plant; our sandy loam is ideal.
