Plant Care

Position: sun to part shade – prefers its roots cool and shaded, with top growth in the sun

Hardiness: fully hardy deciduous perennial climber in the UK (down to -20°C)

Hot Tips: prune in late winter or early spring (Group 2 – light prune), cutting back weak stems and shortening others to strong buds. Mulch the base to keep roots cool, and feed monthly during flowering. Ideal for trellises, obelisks, or large containers with support.
