You will receive a similar plant to the one photographed and not necessarily the same. If you would like a photo of the exact plant we are sending, just drop us a line! Pots and plants are sold separately unless otherwise specified in the listing.
With its dramatic red spines and chunky green stems, Euphorbia enopla looks like a cactus—but it’s actually a succulent from the Euphorbia family. Native to South Africa, it grows in a striking candelabra shape and is prized by collectors for its alien-like form and architectural presence. A brilliant choice for sunny windowsills or minimalist interiors.
Light Loves bright, direct sun—ideally 4+ hours a day. A south- or west-facing windowsill is perfect.
Watering Water sparingly. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings, especially in winter. Euphorbias are prone to rot if overwatered.
Temperature Happy in average room temperatures year-round but protect from cold draughts. Minimum 10°C in winter.
Potting Plant in our Savvy Succa mix for excellent drainage. Choose a pot with a drainage hole to keep the roots healthy.
Hot Tips Euphorbia sap is toxic and can be irritating to skin—avoid contact when repotting or pruning. Wear gloves just to be safe. This spiny friend also appreciates being rotated every so often to grow evenly.
Pet safety Not safe for pets if nibbled—Euphorbia’s milky sap is toxic to cats, dogs, and humans.
