Ficus lyrata, commonly known as the Fiddle Leaf Fig, is one of the most iconic indoor plants, loved for its large, violin-shaped leaves and bold, sculptural presence. With its deep green, glossy foliage and upright growth, it brings instant impact to any space, whether styled as a tall tree or a bushier floor plant. Native to western Africa, this evergreen perennial thrives indoors with the right balance of light and consistency. It’s a true statement plant—less about blending in, more about anchoring a room.

Plant Care 

Light: Likes bright indirect light but can tolerate some direct sun and is also is low-light tolerant.

Watering: Let your plant dry out completely in between waterings.

Temperature: 15-18°C and not below 13°C

Potting: These plants like a well-draining mix. Our A Sandy Loam mix is an excellent choice for this plant.

Hot tips: These plants are really fussy about change. If you do decide to change its location, be sure to do so slowly.
