Haworthia cymbiformis is a charming little succulent with plump, translucent-tipped leaves arranged in tidy starry rosettes. Compact and quietly sculptural, it is ideal for sunny shelves, desks, windowsills and anyone who wants a low-maintenance plant with real character.
Plant Care
Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal, with a little gentle morning or late-afternoon sun helping it stay compact. Avoid harsh midday sun, especially through glass.
Watering: Let the compost dry out fully between waterings, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain away. Water much less in winter.
Temperature: Happy between 15–27°C. Keep it above 10°C and away from cold, damp conditions.
Potting: Our Savvy Succa mix is ideal—gritty, free-draining and made for succulents that do not want wet feet.
Hot tips: The translucent leaf tips are part of its charm, so keep the plant clean and avoid overwatering. Rotate every few weeks for even, compact growth.
Pet Friendly: Yes – generally considered non-toxic to cats and dogs.
