Oncidium Lucky dip – Dancing Lady Orchid

Plant Care
Light: Loves bright indirect light—think dappled sun or a spot near an east or filtered south-facing window. More light = more flowers, but keep it out of harsh direct rays.

Watering: Water when the potting mix is nearly dry but not bone dry. These orchids like to breathe, so let them dry a bit between sips. Mist in between if the air is dry.

Temperature: Warm and steady wins the race—ideally 16–24°C. Protect from cold draughts and sudden changes.

Potting: Orchids need airflow around their roots. Our Airy Aroid mix works beautifully if you’re potting it in a breathable container with good drainage. You can also mix in some extra bark for orchid flair.

Hot tips: After flowering, trim the spent spike back to encourage new growth. Loves a little orchid feed in spring/summer while actively growing. Keep humidity up around 50–60% if you can—she’s tropical like that.
