Description

The Phlebodium Blue Star, also known as the Blue Star Fern, is a striking houseplant with uniquely wavy fronds in a soft, silvery blue-green tone. Unlike many ferns, this one is quite forgiving and thrives in typical home conditions, making it a great option for both beginners and collectors. Its unusual colour and sculptural form bring a calming, architectural touch to any room.

Plant Care 

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but is tolerant of medium to lower light. Avoid direct sun as it can scorch the fronds.

Watering: A plant that likes to be always moist, be sure that that soil is moist but not sopping wet. 

Temperature: 14 to 27°C is ideal, and it can tolerate as low as 10°C but not for long periods. 

Potting: A well-draining moisture retaining mix is a good bet for this plant. Our Thirst Trap mix is a great choice. 

Hot tips: Blue Star Ferns are not as keen on humidity as other ferns, so average room humidity will work for this low-drama plant.
