Rare, regal, and high drama—Calathea dressleri ‘Helen Kennedy’ stuns with its deep green, almost velvety leaves etched with bright lime veins. A moody beauty that adds serious depth to any plant collection.

Plant Care
Light: Bright indirect light is best. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the leaves and wash out the pattern. Can tolerate lower light but may grow more slowly.

Watering: Keep the soil lightly moist but never soggy. Let the top 1–2 cm dry out between waterings. Use filtered or rainwater—tap water can cause crisping.

Temperature: Thrives in 18–26°C. Hates cold air and sudden changes—keep it warm, consistent, and away from draughts.

Potting: Our Thrist Trap mix works beautifully—moisture-retentive yet well-draining, with good airflow for sensitive roots.

Hot tips: Loves humidity—aim for 60% or higher if you can. Avoid misting directly; use a pebble tray or humidifier instead. Rotate occasionally for even growth, and wipe leaves gently to keep them dust-free and photogenic.
