Our rescue plants are looking for a loving forever home! Please note that each plant may differ from the listed images and may have some cosmetic imperfections. Despite this, all of our rescue plants are healthy and will flourish with proper care. If you would like more information, feel free to contact us. These plants are discounted due to cosmetic damage only—we never sell plants with pest issues. Your new green friend will be pest-free and ready to thrive.
With its vibrant veining and compact growth, Fittonia—aka the Nerve Plant—is a favourite for terrariums and small pots. Its low, spreading habit and electric leaf patterns (in pink, red, green, or white) make it a standout in any plant collection. Great for humid spots like bathrooms or kitchens, this tropical cutie thrives with a little love
Light: Bright indirect light is ideal. They can tolerate some shade, but the colours that make them so fab will fade. Direct sun with scorch these lovelies' leaves.
Watering: They always prefer moist but not soggy soil, so give your plant water when the top inch of the earth starts to feel dry. Be careful not to overwater; you don't want to risk root rot and don't let the soil dry out completely. This is a variety that will let you know when thirsty by drooping. This plant prefers filters or rain water.
Temperature: 18-20°C is its ideal temperature range. Try to place this plant in a place that avoids sudden temperature changes or drafts.
Potting: A well-draining mix that holds moisture is an excellent choice. Our Thirst Trap mix is a great choice.
Hot tips: Humidity lovers! Great choice to add to your terrarium project or keep in a steamy (bright) bathroom.
Pet Friendly: YES
