Stromanthe sanguinea 'Triostar' is a true tropical diva, with painterly splashes of pink, white, and green across broad, lance-shaped leaves. A member of the prayer plant family, its foliage folds up at night, revealing deep magenta undersides. This bold, colourful beauty adds movement, contrast, and a touch of the exotic to any indoor jungle.
Plant Care
Plant Care Light: Loves bright, indirect light to keep its colours vivid. Too much direct sun will scorch the leaves; too little and the variegation fades.
Watering: Keep soil evenly moist but not soggy. Let the top 1–2cm dry out before watering again. Use rainwater or filtered water if possible—tap water can cause crisping.
Temperature: Thrives in 18–26°C. Hates cold and draughts—avoid anything below 15°C.
Potting: Our Thirst Trap mix is ideal—moisture-retentive yet airy, perfect for these humidity lovers.
Hot tips: Loves high humidity—perfect for bathrooms or near a humidifier. Wipe leaves to show off their colour.
