Scaevola a breezy little beauty with fan-shaped, violet-blue flowers that bloom nonstop all summer. It tumbles elegantly from baskets and containers, thriving in heat and bouncing back from a bit of neglect. Easy, cheerful, and wildly underrated.

Plant Care

Position: full sun in well-drained soil – ideal for hanging baskets, window boxes, and sunny containers

Hardiness: tender evergreen perennial in the UK (minimum 1-5°C); usually grown as an annual

Hot Tips: deadhead lightly to tidy, though it's largely self-cleaning. Drought-tolerant once established. Loves warmth and won’t sulk in a dry spell – a great low-fuss choice for hot patios and balconies.
