Schefflera arboricola ‘Janine’ – Variegated Umbrella Plant

Schefflera ‘Janine’ is a compact, variegated form of the classic Umbrella Plant. Its glossy green leaves are splashed with creamy white, creating a fresh, marbled effect that brightens any room. With its easy-going nature and bushy shape, it’s perfect as a statement table plant or a lush floor specimen in larger sizes.

Light: Bright indirect light, too much sun, and you risk scorching the leaves. It can tolerate lower light, but it will grow slower. 

Watering: This plant is not keen on sitting in wet soil. Wait until your soil completely dries out before watering, and then thoroughly water it. Think drought and drenching.

Temperature: Best to maintain a temperature above 12°C

Potting: These plants don't need to be repotted too often and prefer to be a bit root bound. Our A Sandy Loam mix is a great fit when it is time for a repot. 

Hot tips: This is a fast-growing plant, so you can prune it back to encourage more bushy growth.
