Sedum Burrito - Burrows Tail -Donkey Tail -
Adorably chubby and totally unique, Sedum ‘Burrito’ (also called Burro’s Tail or Donkey Tail Succulent) is a trailing plant made up of plump, bead-like leaves that tumble over the edges of pots and baskets. A bit delicate to handle but easy to love—this sculptural beauty is all about the look with minimal fuss.
Plant Care
Light: This plant needs bright light to survive. My rule of thumb is always to let them have a view of the sky. The best bet is a sunny windowsill; be sure to let your plant have at least 6 hours of sun daily.
Watering: These plants are drought tolerant. Only water when the soil appears very dry, as overwatering can quickly kill these plants. It's usually time to water when your succulent gets a little bit puckery. Cut way back on watering in the winter and only water when your plant puckers.
Temperature: Best not to let these plants get below 13°C.
Potting: A well-draining mix is ideal for this plant. Our Savvy Succa would be a great fit.
Hot tips: Be sure to put this plant in a low-traffic area as its leaves fall off easily. If you do lose any leaves, it's easy to propagate; just allow the leaf to dry out for a day and place it on top of the soil. Soon, you will see a new plant beginning to form.
