Product details

A lightweight mineral additive that helps potting mixes hold onto moisture for longer. Vermiculite absorbs water and gradually releases it back into the soil, helping keep roots evenly hydrated without making a mix feel dense or heavy.

It’s especially useful for thirsty houseplants, seedlings and propagation, or when you’re creating a custom mix for plants that don’t appreciate drying out too quickly.

Mix it with coco coir, compost or your existing potting soil for a softer, more moisture-retentive blend.

How to use: Add to your chosen soil mix as needed. For a general moisture-loving houseplant mix, start with around 1 part vermiculite to 4–5 parts soil.

Perfect for: Calathea, Maranta, Peace Lilies, ferns, seedlings, propagation and DIY soil mixes.

Texture: Fine and lightweight.
