Plant Care
Light: Bright light, but try to keep it out of the direct sun or it will scorch. My rule with this plant is to place it where it has a view of the sky.
Watering: This plant prefers deep watering but less often. So when the soil feels dry give it a good soak when the top inch of soil is dry (but make sure not to let it sit in standing water). Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. This semi-succulent stores water in its tubers and dislikes soggy roots. Water less in winter.
Temperature: 15-29°C is ideal for these strings of things, but make sure not to let it dip below 10°C for too long or you may start losing the lovely little hearts.
Potting: Drainage is key here, so a succulent mix is a good choice for this. Our Savvy Succa is a great fit for this plant.
Hot tips: With proper care, your string of hearts can grow up to several feet long!
