Textured, tidy, and totally bizarre—Crassula muscosa f. acuminata is like a miniature succulent zipper. Its tightly packed, geometric leaves form quirky chains that sprawl, stack, or cascade depending on how you grow it.
Plant Care Light: Bright light to full sun is best. Indoors, place near your brightest window. Outdoors, give it plenty of sun but acclimate slowly to avoid scorch.
Watering: Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. Its fine stems are sensitive to overwatering—less is more. Cut back in winter.
Temperature: Thrives in 16–26°C. Can tolerate down to 5°C if dry, but protect from frost. Not suited to cold, damp conditions.
Potting: Our Savvy Succa mix is ideal—gritty, fast-draining, and perfect for this moisture-sensitive succulent.
Hot tips: Trim to shape and encourage fuller growth. Great in shallow bowls or rocky arrangements. Can get leggy in low light, so rotate regularly and keep it sunny.
