Kalanchoe Rosalina ‘Oranje’, also known as Flaming Katy or Widow’s Thrill, is a cheerful succulent houseplant bursting with clusters of vivid orange flowers above its glossy, deep green leaves. Compact and long-blooming, it’s a favourite for brightening windowsills, desks, or gifting as a splash of living colour. Thanks to its succulent nature, it’s also wonderfully easy to care for.
Plant Care
Light:A sunny window seal is best for this beauty. It prefers bright light and can handle some direct sun; however, be careful to avoid midday sun as this can scorch the leaves.
Watering: These plants are drought tolerant. Only water when the soil appears very dry, as overwatering can quickly kill these plants. It's usually time to water when the leaves become a bit limp and floppy. Cut way back on watering in the winter and only water when your plant puckers.
Temperature: 16-27°C. Is ideal.
Potting:A well-draining mix is ideal for this plant. Our Savvy Succa would be a great fit.
Hot tips:Regularly remove spent flowers to encourage future blooming
