Mimosa pudica - Sensitive Plant

Playful and fascinating, Mimosa pudica—commonly known as the Sensitive Plant or Shy Plant—folds its feathery leaves inward when touched or shaken. This reaction is quick and captivating, making it a favourite among kids and curious plant lovers. It grows into a soft, bushy shape with delicate pink pom-pom flowers in summer.

Plant Care
Light: Loves bright, indirect light or gentle morning sun. An east-facing windowsill is ideal. Avoid harsh midday rays that can scorch the leaves.

Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Never let it fully dry out, especially in warm weather. Reduce watering slightly in winter.

Temperature: Thrives in 18–26°C. Keep away from draughts and protect from cold—never let it drop below 13°C.
