Peperomia Argyreia- Watermelon peperomia
Peperomia argyreia, also called the Watermelon Peperomia, is the ultimate cutie with its round, glossy leaves patterned like watermelon rinds. Compact, quirky, and pet safe, this plant brings a playful pop to desktops, shelves, or any little nook that needs cheering up. It's easy-going, slow-growing, and full of charm without taking over your space.
Plant Care
Light:
Loves bright, indirect light. Too little light and the variegation fades; too much direct sun and the leaves can scorch.
Watering:
Let the soil dry out before watering. It holds water in its thick leaves, so don’t overdo it. Youll know its thirsty when its leaves get less firm.
Temperature:
Happy in 18–26°C and should be kept above 15°C. Keep out of draughts for best results.
Potting:
Loves our A Sandy Loam mix — well-draining and just the right balance for those moisture-storing stems.
Hot tips:
Rotate the plant regularly to keep it symmetrical, and avoid soggy soil. This one’s not a fan of being over-loved — hands off those roots unless it really needs a repot.
