Tall, textured, and totally zen—Polyscias fruticosa is like a little indoor tree with major personality. Its feathery foliage and graceful shape bring calm, curated vibes to any corner.
Plant Care Light: Bright indirect light is best. It’ll tolerate some light shade but needs good brightness to stay bushy and full. Avoid direct sun—it can scorch those delicate leaves.
Watering: Let the top 3–5cm of soil dry out between waterings. This one hates wet feet and inconsistent watering—aim for a steady rhythm.
Temperature: Loves warmth—ideally 18–26°C. Hates cold drafts or sudden temperature drops, so keep it cosy and stable.
Potting: Our Airy Aroid mix is ideal—light, structured, and drains well while holding enough moisture for its woody roots.
Hot tips: Doesn’t like to be moved around—once it’s happy, leave it be. Prune occasionally to shape and encourage a full, tree-like look. Can drop leaves if stressed but usually bounces back with a bit of consistency.
