Saintpaulia – White Mini African Violet is a compact flowering houseplant loved for its soft velvety leaves and delicate pure white blooms. These miniature African Violets are perfect for windowsills, desks, terrariums, or small-space plant displays, bringing long-lasting colour indoors with minimal fuss. Their compact growth habit makes them ideal for collectors or anyone wanting easy indoor flowers year-round.
Plant Care
Light:This plant loves bright indirect light, but the direct sun could scorch the leaves, and if the light is too little, then the plant will not flower.
Watering:They like to be moist all the time but don't fare well if overwatered. Will recover from underwatering. The best bet with this plant is to bottom water by placing the plant in a bowl of water for about 30 minutes once a week and allowing the plant to sip. Watering from above can cause issues with the leaves and flowers of this plant.
Temperature: Ideally, they want 18-26°C, especially if you want them to flower. Don't let it get below 15°C. Otherwise, you will see leaf drop and have one sad-looking plant.
Potting: A well-draining and moisture-retaining mix is perfect. OurThirst Trapmix should do the trick!
Hot tips: This plant loves humidity, so a bright, steamy bathroom is ideal
